The sample room

It’s our own. We make and grade patterns on CAD, then cut and fit the sample here.

How the sample room carries into quality

You have a tech pack
Send it. We make the pattern from it and tell you if anything won’t sew the way it’s drawn.
You have sketches
We develop the pattern with you. We help with the technical side; the designs stay yours.
Fabric
We can recommend and source. Tell us the feel and weight you want and we’ll send options before you commit.
Grading
In house. Send your size set and tolerances.

Fabric and trims

How we normally work
Full package: we buy the fabric and trims, and you buy finished garments, so you don’t carry fabric risk.
If you supply
Send it and we’ll cut and sew it (CMT). Tell us when you ask for a quote, because it changes the unit price and lead time.
Dye lots
A plain colour needs 500–1,500 m of fabric per colour, depending on the base fabric. That’s the mill’s minimum.

Payment, currency and freight

Payment
30% deposit, 70% before shipment.
Currency
AUD, NZD, GBP, USD or CNY.
Freight
We usually quote FOB and can quote other terms.
Inspection
A shipment sample goes to you before goods leave. If you want a third-party inspection, raise it when you order.
