Terms we will put in writing

Minimum
100 pieces per style, per colour on stock fabric and prints. A colour dyed to your Pantone starts at 250, because the dyehouse’s minimum batch is 500–1,500 m. Minimums by fabric
Sample fee
CNY 500–1,000 per style, depending on complexity. Credited against orders of 200 pieces or more.
Fabric and trims
We source them as standard (full package). If you’d rather supply your own fabric, we’ll cut and sew it (CMT). Tell us when you ask for a quote, because it changes the unit price and lead time.
Payment
30% deposit, 70% before shipment.
Currency
AUD, NZD, GBP, USD or CNY.
Freight
We usually quote FOB and can quote other terms.
Inspection
A shipment sample goes to you before goods leave. If you want a third-party inspection, raise it when you order.
Your designs
Tell us if you need an NDA. See below.

What we need from you

Four things from you prevent most disputes.

A signed sample
Your written approval of the sample, not a verbal yes on a call. It becomes the standard we’re measured against.
A size spec
Points of measure with your tolerances. If you do not have tolerances, say so and we will propose ours in writing.
Fit comments in one document
One marked-up sheet per fitting, rather than lots of separate messages.
Your labelling
Care, composition, country of origin and any retailer-specific requirements, in the artwork you want used.

To quote, we need less: the tech pack or sketches with measurements, a fabric reference, and quantities by size and colourway.

Your designs

A tech pack is commercially sensitive. If you need us to sign an NDA before you send one, just tell us.

Questions buyers ask first

What is your minimum order?

100 pieces per style, per colour, on stock fabric and prints. A plain colour dyed to your Pantone starts at 250 pieces, because the dyehouse’s minimum batch is 500–1,500 m. A print run is at least 150–200 m of fabric.

How long do sampling and bulk take?

2 weeks from your tech pack to a fitting sample, including making the pattern. Bulk takes 1 month from your written approval of the sample.

Do you source the fabric?

Yes. Full package is how we normally work: we buy the fabric and trims and can recommend fabric. Tell us the feel and weight you want and we’ll send options before you commit. If you’d rather supply your own fabric, we’ll cut and sew it (CMT); tell us when you ask for a quote, because it changes the unit price and the lead time.

Do I need a full tech pack?

No. Sketches with measurements and a fabric reference are enough to start. We develop the pattern with you. We help with the technical side; the designs stay yours.

What does a sample cost?

CNY 500–1,000 per style, depending on complexity. The fee is credited against orders of 200 pieces or more.

How do payment and shipping work?

30% deposit and 70% before shipment, in AUD, NZD, GBP, USD or CNY. We usually quote FOB and can quote other terms.

How do I know bulk will match the sample?

Your signed sample becomes the standard we’re measured against. Before the goods leave the factory, we send you a shipment sample from your order. If you want a third-party inspection, raise it when you order.
